NIV vs. KJV ROUND #2

1JOHN 5:7 (NIV)
For there are three that testify.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Hmm...something is missing from the NIV. Oh! yes thats right the Godhead is missing, even the same word Godhead is missing. See Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:9. Ok so three testify according to the NIV, but three what? It could be three...well...anything really. Oh but you will say there is a footnote in the NIV, yes sure its there and it probably says, some manuscripts had it some didn't, blah, blah, blah! God promised to preserve his word. God IS NOT the author of confusion. So is the Godhead part of the word or it isn't? Footnotes infuse doubt! Yup thats right, the NIV is a better translation...YEAH RIGHT!!!!
